Everyone must have noticed the small pocket that is situated on the upper part of jeans pocket. There is a big pocket already but why there is small one? If it is told a secret pocket than it is seen by everyone.

In real this pocket was used to keep the watch.
On 1800 A.D. Foreigners Cowboys used to keep the watch on the chain and keep it on the pocket of their coat. This use to d@mage their watch or they use to lose their watch. So due to this Levi Strauss made the small pocket near the big pocket where the watch could be kept safely.
